Ashland is the gateway to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. When people think of Ashland, Oregon they of course think Shakespeare. However, there are so many other cultural and scenic attributes: from wineries, to galleries, to whitewater rafting, skiing and ice skating in Lithia Park in winter, you'll find it all here.

We are proud to have Southern Oregon University, world class theater, great dining, shopping and lodging options, not to mention the host of very talented artists whose works populate our galleries.

Ashland is a great place for families to stay and play. There is an abundance of outdoor activities for kids and adults. There is hiking and biking on the many trails that surround the town, rafting down the Rogue and Klamath Rivers, and playing at the Science Works Hands-on Museum. All of these things can be done as a family before the evening play!
