This is an update on what's been happening at Kokopelli River Guides in the past week. We just got back from a company training trip down the Lower Klamath River. It was a magical experience. Late April on the river with beautiful weather is always exciting! We were scoping out how the river was looking and new campsites we're hoping to use on our multi-day rafting trips. We found some great choices that will be sure to make your overnight river camping experience incredible!

What was amazing too was that we saw bald eagles, tons of osprey, and a huge herd of elk! That was a new one! The river was great. Summer is just as beautiful as spring on the Lower Klamath River except for the fact that the water is a lot warmer! It is typical on these trips for everyone on the trip to be in the water cooling off at the same time, even the guides! On this spring river trip there wasn't much swimming since the water was brrr chilly but we sure did enjoy getting doused with the huge waves at Rattlesnake rapid and Ferry Point rapid!

We ate really well and we were testing out new meals for you to enjoy. We know you'll love them! The Lower Klamath is the perfect family river rafting trip for ages 6 and up. We know you will love it just as much as we do...the rafting, the inflatable kayaking, the hiking to Ukonom Falls, and the scenery.
