Fall Whitewater Rafting Trips In Oregon And Northern CaliforniaThe weather is perfect, Indian summer, and mild temperaturesWritten by LDFall is absolutely the best time to go whitewater rafting in Southern Oregon and Northern California. After Labor Day the weather has finally turned a little bit cooler and we are usually blessed with an Indian Summer. This trend typically begins in September and continues through October. This is just one of the reasons why we love living in Ashland, Oregon. Our season is typically over September 30th. If you would like to go on a trip in October call us for availability. The Rogue River Nugget is still flowing at a great level in the fall because of regulated flows upstream and so is the Lower Klamath- Tree of Heaven river run. Both of these runs offer wildlife viewing, fun rapids, and a chance to spot salmon swimming upstream to spawn. Catching a glimpse of a salmon jumping out of the water is always a treat for rafters! The Upper Klamath always has great flows throughout September due to regulated daily flows from J.C. Boyle dam. The Upper Klamath and it's class 3-4+ rapids promise to still be an exciting ride for those who are up for the challenge. Spot bald eagles, pick blackberries, and experience the Wild West feel when you raft the best spring- fall whitewater rafting in the west! Don't miss out on this last chance of the rafting season to get out there on the river and experience the best fall whitewater rafting that Oregon and Northern California have to offer! ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦
