Ask any raft guide and they'll tell you their favorite thing on the river is doing an overnight rafting trip with good friends and family. Our "Hell’s Corner" Upper Klamath Whitewater Rafting trip is a thrilling two days of exciting white water, amazing scenery, and native Oregon and Northern California wildlife. The Klamath River grinds, cuts, cascades and nourishes this beautiful basalt canyon creating plenty of big white water rapids. This translates into a big whitewater rafting adventure! Eat gourmet food, relax by the campfire, and sleep under the stars. It is the perfect river trip combination.
RAFTING ADVENTURE
It's the middle of the summer and whitewater rafting doesn't get any better than the Upper Klamath! While most rivers in the United States are dried up from their spring runoff, the Upper Klamath has plenty of water throughout the summer because of scheduled water releases.
SLEEP UNDER THE STARS
We'll run the Upper Klamath's epic rapids the first day then head to camp traveling along a wilderness dirt road. Our camp is located at the historic Frain Ranch right above Caldera rapid. We'll spend the evening eating a delicious river side dinner and of course, dessert. Then retire to the campfire where you'll listen to the crackling fire and stories of the day's adventures. Sleep in our comfortable sleeping bags, tents, and on our extremely comfortable Paco Pad sleeping pads. Of course if you have your own camping equipment that you want to bring on the trip you are more than welcome. The next morning we'll have an exciting start with Caldera rapid. We'll run all of the same great rapids we did the day before and then continue a few miles past State Line Falls where we'll end our adventure.
MAGNIFICENT UPPER KLAMATH RIVER
The Upper Klamath River, beginning in Southern Oregon and ending in Northern California, is a remote river canyon listed as a United States "Wild and Scenic River". It is a magnificent place to spend the day. On any Upper Klamath rafting trip there is plenty of wildlife to view, you may see bald eagles, osprey, deer and even wild turkeys.
SAFETY FIRST
Because safety is our number one priority, we never run single boat raft trips and mandate that all our Upper Klamath rafting trips include a safety boat, either a kayak or raft. All of our professional raft guides are highly trained with Advanced First Aid/CPR certification as a minimum requirement and are also certified in Swiftwater Rescue. Some of our guides are certified Wilderness First Responders or Paramedics.
GOURMET FOOD
To add to the grandeur of this overnight river trip we provide scrumptious breakfasts, healthy and hearty riverside lunches, and dinners that will satisfy your enormous appetite after a hard day of rafting. Of course we serve yummy desserts that you're not allowed to feel guilty about!

Out of our control: A 3% BLM/USFS use fee will be added to the cost of all rafting trips and inflatable kayaking trips.
