CLASS 4+ WHITEWATER RAFTING

It's the middle of the summer and whitewater rafting doesn't get any better than the Upper Klamath! While most rivers in the United States are dried up from their spring runoff, the Upper Klamath has plenty of water throughout the summer because of scheduled water releases.

Hitting the "big ones" on the Upper Klamath River rafting trips.

We begin our rafting trip in Oregon and head to the Klamath river for a continental breakfast. After getting all of your rafting gear on and a river safety talk from your experienced guide we hit the river. This full day river trip starts out with 5 miles of warm up whitewater on class 2-3 rapids before you enter the heart of the canyon. This allows for plenty of time to practice your paddling skills with your raft team. Once you enter the heart of the Upper Klamath River Canyon you'll be challenged with rapids such as Caldera, Branding Iron, Satan's Gate, Hell's Corner, and many more along this fantastic whitewater rafting adventure. After a relaxing riverside lunch, the day passes by, floating across the Oregon/California border at State Line Falls. The trip isn't over yet since there are many more exciting rapids ahead and plenty of calm pools to swim in. You'll see why the Upper Klamath is such a popular raft trip for locals and visitors alike.

MAGNIFICENT UPPER KLAMATH RIVER

The Upper Klamath River, beginning in Southern Oregon and ending in Northern California, is a remote river canyon listed as a United States "Wild and Scenic River". It is a magnificent place to spend the day. On any Upper Klamath rafting trip there is plenty of wildlife to view, you may see bald eagles, osprey, deer and even wild turkeys.
