Thank you for your interest in employment with Kokopelli River Guides, located in beautiful Ashland, Oregon. We guide half day to multi-day river rafting trips on the Rogue River, Klamath River, Cal Salmon, Owyhee River, and the Scott River. We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and positive people to join our team. Our busy season is from Memorial Day to Labor Day and if you are hired you will be required to be employed with us during this time. There are usually trips in the month before and the month after this time so you may get additional work then.

Whitewater Raft Guides

Seeking competent Class 4 whitewater raft guides to guide the Upper Klamath, Lower Klamath, and Rogue River. We want people who don't just row our guests down the river but are entertaining, knowledgeable, and fun. Must have 3 years commercial guiding experience. Must have at least Advanced First Aid, CPR certified and Swiftwater Rescue certified. Must have a clean driving record. Duties include but are not limited to: raft guiding, shuttle driving, equipment maintenance, and, guest service.

To apply for a guide position we require a river log, proof of current First Aid and CPR and Swiftwater Rescue certification. We will go through an interview process with you and then we will let you know if you've been hired. We require for you to train on all of the stretches of river that you will be guiding on.

Drivers

Seeking a driver to drive 15 passenger vans. Must have a clean driving record, be reliable, professional, friendly, and flexible. Must be able to work 10 or more hour days. Duties include driving, equipment maintenance, and vehicle maintenance. This position is part time. Must be able to be flexible and on-call.

Retail

Seeking sales associate for paddlesports shop. Knowledge about paddling equipment, kayaks, rafts, and accessories is required. Duties include but not limited to: retail sales, taking reservations, equipment maintenance, guest service. Must have an outgoing personality, the ability to make others smile on the worst of days, and the desire to provide outstanding customer service.

Sales Reservationist

Seeking professional, friendly person to answer calls, take reservations, data entry, and miscellaneous office work. Must be dependable and flexible. Must have an outgoing personality, the ability to make others smile on the worst of days, and the desire to provide outstanding customer service.
