A raft trip on the "Nugget" run on the Rogue River is a gem of a whitewater rafting trip. The Rogue River has long been known not only for its rafting but also for its world-class salmon and steelhead trout spawning runs. While multitudes of fish struggle upstream to reach a final destination, groups of whitewater rafters test themselves on a whitewater rafting adventure down this section of the Rogue River.

The Rogue River begins high up in the Cascade mountains of Oregon. It then makes it way all the way down to the Pacific Ocean at Gold Beach. The Rogue River is a favorite to many seasoned boaters and is one of our favorites too.

While floating in between rapids make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the abundance of birds such as osprey and blue herons who inhabit the Rogue River. You might even see salmon jumping and struggling to make it up and over Nugget Falls and Powerhouse rapid. The "Nugget" is truly a gem of a raft trip and a great way to spend some time on the river if you don't have a lot of time. Join us for this thrilling rafting "taste test" that will leave you with visions of your next whitewater rafting vacation swimming in your head.

The Nugget is perfect for families with kids as young as 8. We will pick you up at your hotel of bed and breakfast and also we offer pick up in Medford at the Biddle Road exit. Our half day trips include a snack, entertaining guides, and transportation to and from the river.
