New York Times publishes story about Owyhee River rafting and kayaking

Ashland, Oregon's Kokopelli River Guides is mentioned

We had no idea that we were going to get some free press without even asking, but we got lucky! We just got word that we were mentioned in a story in the New York Times on July 27th, 2008 about Owyhee River rafting in the side bar. Kokopelli River Guides was listed as one of the rafting companies to take you on a river trip down Oregon's "Grand Canyon". We are super excited about this and are happy to know that our little corner of the world is finally getting recognized. We are also thrilled that all of our hard work is finally paying off and our little river rafting company is now getting recognized nationally.
