Summer Rafting Season Slows Down

After Labor Day things slow down but rafting trips still go out

by LD

This is always a depressing time of year for us here at Kokopelli River Guides. Labor Day marks the end of summer and this is when our rafting business slows down too. It's kind of sad. We've worked with all of our great guides all summer long and now we won't see them everyday like we did since May. We will see them though on the occasional trip on the Rogue River Nugget in September or the more infrequent Upper Klamath rafting trip. I just get sad sitting here thinking about it.

This coming week we still have trips going out and it makes for a personal experience for our guests. There is still whitewater out there so why not take the plunge while the weather is still nice? We look forward to you joining us this month before we pack things away for the winter. Kokopelli will close up shop on September 30th, 2008. If you missed your chance this year, we will look forward to meeting you in 2009!
