Spring Whitewater Rafting Trips: Get the river season started early!

Owyhee River Rafting and Kayaking
The Lower Owyhee River is designated as a Wild and Scenic stretch of river and includes spectacular scenery, incredible whitewater, hiking, and hot springs. The Owyhee is located in an arid desert climate and is often compared to similar desert canyons such as Westwater Canyon on the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon of the Colorodo River. Because the Owyhee River is located in a desert region it receives less snow and rainfall than other Oregon rivers making the Owyhee rafting season shorter than others and a special treat if you get to run it. The Owyhee typically runs between April and the end of May. Sometime the rafting season can extend until mid-June due to a wet winter. The Lower Owyhee can also be run at lower water in June-August in inflatable kayaks. The Owyhee River is remote and isolated which makes it the perfect wilderness rafting experience to get away from it all.

Cal Salmon Spring Rafting Trips
The Wild and Scenic California Salmon River is one of the most amazing whitewater rafting trips in the country. This Northern California Class 4-5 river is a little know gem that is at the top of "must do" rafting trips in the United States. As one of the largest tributaries to the Klamath River this run has outstanding scenery and whitewater action. With picturesque waterfalls, lush forested gorges, and spectacular green waters the California Salmon is one of the best whitewater rafting high adventures for the thrill seeker. This 2 night, 2 day whitewater river adventure is for the thrill seeker and adrenaline junkie. Trip dates are snow pack dependent and to be announced. Call or email for trip date details.
