Crazy summer weather means TONS of fun on the river

Hot,cool,sun, and an occasional shower

Summer 2009 has been a wacky summer for weather. June started out a little cooler with some rain. Things got better though when it finally started to heat up...well almost too much! By the middle of July it was 110 degrees in Medford and this heat wave lasted in the triple digits for a couple of weeks. People did grumble a little bit but they decided to wash away their sorrows in the river on a rafting trip! This was the perfect solution to their troubles. Now things have a cooled down little bit into the mid 80's with promise of another heat wave next week into the triple digits again! We're not complaining though, as long as we can stretch out summer for as long as possible, we're happy!

If you haven't made it out this summer to get on a river trip with Kokopelli you still have time. We operate river rafting and kayaking adventures until September 30th. September with an Indian Summer is always a great time to get on the river! We hope to take you on a river rafting adventure this year. Happy Paddling!
