Come rain, hail, sleet, and snow

Leslie

River guides, Chris and Brian, had an awesome day on the Upper Klamath River on Monday May 10th. A May low pressure system promised that the weather would be nasty. At 8am the skies looked ominous and it was COLD outside. The guides were a little nervous that the clients would change their minds and back out of the trip. Not to worry though! The clients showed up at Kokopelli River Center and were excited and ready to go!

While rafting on the Upper Klamath the crew hit all kinds of weather conditions- rain, sleet, hail, and even snow! The crew that was clothed in wetsuits, fleece, and splash gear stuck it out and enjoyed the ride despite all of the crazy weather they encountered. No, it wasn't the usual summer heat down in the Upper Klamath canyon, but it was an exciting ride. The group had a blast and will be coming back again for sure!
