Most Fun You Can Have For a Half a Day

Leslie

The Rogue River "Nugget" run is located just upstream of Gold Hill, Oregon on the Rogue River. This run is about 5.5 miles and offers everything from Class 1 (flat water) to Class 4 (paddle hard and hang on). On this river trip you will be floating and paddling for about two hours. The put in is located about a mile below the Gold Ray Dam and the takeout is located at the Gold Hill Sports Park. If you are a birder you will have plenty of opportunities to spot osprey, bald eagles, blue herons, and mergansers. Be prepared to get wet on this trip especially at Lyman's hole, Nugget Falls, and Powerhouse Falls. You guide will also stop at Lyman's hole and surf the raft. This is always a thrill for everyone! Children as young as 8 years old are welcome to raft with us on the Nugget.

If you have a few hours to spare come out and raft the Rogue with us. You will be excited and delighted! Be prepared for a good splashing!
